Museo della Donna (Museum of Women)

The Museum of Women was opened to make local life known through the eyes of the women who lived there.

The tour consists of ten conceptual sections, each one identifying a specific role of women. As you look at the photographic evidence that tells about the evolution of women in Sardinian society, you can empathise with the daily life of those women who devoted all their lives to what they loved. 

Multimedia aids create an engaging atmosphere, providing the opportunity to delve even deeper into the past, using digital devices that tell the story of rituals, customs, traditions and the specific taste of an era gone by.
