The Church dedicated to Our Lady of Itria condenses all the devotional meaning addressed to the Virgin Mary, calling you to explore its most artistic expressions.
The church was built in 1600 and, as you can guess from the design of the elegant façade, it has a nave and two aisles partitioned by pillared arches inside.
The nave distinguishes itself from the aisles for a sequence of pointed arches that hold the weight of the wood truss roof. As you walk along the nave down to the end, you will see the extremely sweet wooden statue of the Virgin and Child, dating from the early 19th century.
