Il Museo Multimediale “Filo di Memoria” (Multimedia Museum “Filo di Memoria”)

The Multimedia Museum “Filo di Memoria” was opened in 2011 to tell the story of the municipal area and enrich its cultural heritage.

The Museum is housed in an ancient campidanese house, a typical Sardinian house, and wants to welcome you and fully awaken all your senses. That’s why the tour of the Museum relies on a multimedia communication system that is all focussed on the Domus de Janas (a Sardinian Prehistoric dwelling that is just a few kilometres from the Museum).

The story combines with a direct interaction with the visitor, as the audio tours tell episodes of the city’s folklore, specially developed to come into direct contact with the listener.

As you walk through the three big exhibition rooms, you will get a better insight into the local Prehistoric archaeology, and you will be amazed by the beauty and richness of the multimedia contents, for an even more satisfactory and exhaustive experience.
