Nuraghe Pitzu Cummu
In the Nuraghe trail that covers the length and breadth of Sardinia, what stands out is the “Pitzu Cummu”, on top of a hill in the territory of Lunamatrona.
Because of its intricate construction, it falls within the category of complex nuraghes, those with multiple towers joined around a central construction. In this case, there are four towers on the sides, joined by curtain walls, with a bigger tower in the middle.
Based on the remains of a few floors, it has been assumed that the nuraghe must have lasted only a short time.
