Tuili - Festival Internazionale del Folklore (Marmilla Folk Festival)

The International Folklore Festival is an annual event that attracts many tourists to the municipality of Tuili, an event that usually takes place in the first ten days of August.

The Festival is organised by the Sa Corona Arrùbia Tourist Consortium (www.sacoronarrubia.it) together with the municipality of Tuili and other municipalities in the area.

The event has a calendar with various appointments in stages in the promoting municipalities. Each of these hosts one or two foreign folk groups who perform during the evening together with the local folk group, in the case of Tuili the Sa Jara Tuili, an opportunity for an international cultural exchange characterised by traditional dances and music.

The evening usually takes place in the beautiful setting of Villa Asquer or in the square near the Church of Sant'Antonio.
