Tuili
Tuili is a lovely village right in the midst of the Marmilla region, known for its unique natural scenery. The Parco della Giara, with its vast Pauli Majori marshland and the stately Zepparedda, is part of its territory, offering a wide choice of spectacular nature hikes through cork and holm oak woods, the Mediterranean scrub, centuries-old olive trees and marshy habitats. This outstanding place is also home to wild horses, weasels, hares, martens, foxes and birds of prey, such as goshawks, peregrine falcons and buzzards.
A fascinating village, famous for its mysterious fragments of the past

In the surroundings, you can explore centuries-old olive trees and archaeological sites, some of which are on display in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale in Cagliari.
In the old centre of Tuili, palatial buildings and farmhouses alternate along its picturesque lanes, with two elegant neoclassic buildings, Villa Pitzalis and Villa Asquer, now home to the interesting museums of olive trees, oil and Sardinian musical instruments, including the launeddas, a sort of triple clarinet.
The parish church of St Peter the Apostle, with its Catalan Gothic architecture, is another gem, while the surrounding area will delight you with the little church on the plateau dedicated to St Luisa and the church of Sant'Antonio Abate (St. Anthony Abbot) in Spanish Colonial style.
The feast in honour of St Anthony the Great in late July is one of the most deeply-felt events and an opportunity to take a dip into the local traditions and culture.
