Villanovaforru - Mestieri, saperi e sapori del passato

The Crafts, knowledge and flavors of the past event was born with the aim of valorising and rediscovering the ancient traditions of the town, which come back to life through craft workshops, culinary events, conferences, book presentations, re-enactments of traditional games and musical performances.

The flagship events are the two festivals: Sìmbula frita cun sartitzu (Fried semolina and sausage), and Cìxiri cun peis de Procu (Chickpeas and pig's feet), two of the main dishes of the local tradition.

To frame the entire event in the streets of Villanovaforru, the exhibitions of artisans and artists from all over Sardinia.
