Villanovaforru - Festa di San Francesco d’Assisi

With the feast of October 4th, Villanovaforru celebrates its patron saint, San Francesco d'Assisi.

The celebrations take place in the heart of the town, the Constitution Square which embraces the parish church. On the day of the feast the saint is carried in procession through the streets of the town and a solemn mass is celebrated in his honour, while the evening is dedicated to civil celebrations, with music performances.
