Tuili - Festa di Sant'Isidoro e Sant'Ignazio

The Feast of Sant'Isidoro and Sant'Ignazio takes place every year on 10th and 11th May in the historic center of Tuili.

The characteristic and solemn procession in honor of Sant'Ignazio da Laconi and Sant'Isidoro, protector of farmers, attracts many faithful also from neighboring towns who celebrate the anniversary by decorating tractors and oxen with flowers and ears of wheat, a ritual which, as per tradition, guarantees good luck in agricultural practices and for the season's harvest.

The procession, reminiscent of other times, goes through the streets of the center to reach the Church of San Pietro Apostolo for the mass and blessing of the participants, while in Piazza Bangius the civil celebrations continue until the evening with shows, music, entertainment and product tastings typical.
